Helsinki Global Gov Jam

Challenge:
People join together for a 48-hour Jam based on the public sector. Cities around the world join in and are inspired by one secret theme. Working together at a similar pace making prototypes, testing them, failing fast and remaking them. The purpose is to learn new ways of addressing old issues, making new connections, and to have a lot of fun in the process.

Helsinki Global Gov Jam was held in two locations in 2017- at the University of Helsinki Viikki campus and by the D9 team of the State Treasury and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment. 

Results:
New ideas and concepts were explored and pursued by 4 different teams to solve problems related to the human-nature relationship. Co-organised the Viikki event with one other person and enjoyed the process of teaching the double diamond and service design concepts to those who have never heard of them. It was so much fun.
